The exclusive Leslie’s Lost Reserve 2018, a unique bottle from Balfour Winery, ‘lost’ for half a decade before now being released. Originally created by Fergus and Owen Elias over five years ago, 255 bottles of our Leslie’s Reserve were “misplaced” for a number of years.

Recently recovered from a corner of our cellar, and now tasting superb, these are bottles from the past.

Due to the ‘lost’ years these wines have enjoyed, they are now tasting beautifully matured – with richer, toastier notes and wonderful nutty character; a rarity in English Sparkling Wine.

This bottle is part of a tiny parcel, never to be repeated. Each bottle has been hand-numbered upon release.

Like the rest of our Leslie’s range, this is a classic traditional method sparkling wine and one which epitomizes what makes sparkling English wine so special; elegant purity, a linear focus and fresh acidity.

Every parcel from each variety, clone and soil type is handpicked and pressed separately before blending to create the Leslie’s signature style.

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and full malolactic fermentation before these bottles were lost for a further five years of ageing.
