Whereas if you are looking for an exceptional wine and food pairing experience indulge in our A La Carte Menu by reserving a table in our restaurant ‘The Winemakers’ Kitchen’- open seven days a week for lunch and on Sundays will be serving elegant traditional roast’s. The Winemakers’ Kitchen is also serving dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. Join us to enjoy great wine, fantastic food and beautiful views across our Estate.

A dining experience inspired by the vineyard itself. The Winemakers’ Kitchen celebrates the idea that what grows together, goes together. Each dish is a conversation between chef and winemaker.

Our à la carte and Sunday menus feature seasonal ingredients from the surrounding countryside, paired thoughtfully with our English still and sparkling wines. Expect elegant, ingredient-led plates that bring the flavours of Kent to life, all served in our glass-fronted restaurant overlooking the vines.

From intimate lunches to long, wine-led evenings, the Winemakers’ Kitchen is where craftsmanship in the kitchen meets creativity in the cellar.

The Winemakers Pub

Pub Classics & Comfort Plates

Just ten minutes down the road in the nearby village of Goudhurst, the Winemakers’ Pub is our relaxed local; a place where good food, good wine, and good company come naturally together.

Here, home comfort is the headline act. Expect pub classics, elevated with the same care and creativity that shape our wines: think slow-cooked Sunday roasts, crisp beer-battered fish, and hearty, ingredient-led dishes that feel both familiar and fresh.

We keep to our philosophy that what grows together goes together, English wines poured alongside seasonal dishes that celebrate the Kent countryside. Whether you’re dropping in for a lazy lunch or ending a day of tastings with a fireside supper, the Winemakers’ Pub is your home away from the vineyard.

A complimentary shuttle runs between Balfour Winery and the pub, so you can settle in and savour the full experience, glass in hand.

Start the experience with an inspiring one-hour masterclass led by the Charlotte Tilbury team, packed with insider beauty tips, glow-giving tricks, and a first look at their latest collection. Then, settle in for a guided tasting of three delicious wines from Balfour Winery

Yoga in the Vines
Sunday 13th September | 10am - 12:45pm | £50 per person

Yoga in the Vines

Join us for a second date of Yoga in the Vines, set across our 400-acre estate in the Kent countryside. This gentle vinyasa flow session is designed to stretch, strengthen, and steady—an unhurried hour of movement and breath beneath the open sky. Suitable for beginners and improvers, it’s yoga at its most forgiving.

Afterwards, return to the winery for a guided tasting of three Balfour wines, led by one of our team, who will happily take you from “present and grounded” to “pleasantly persuaded this is a very good idea indeed.”

Flatbreads and sharing platters are available to order on the day (with a 10% discount), and guests are welcome to wander the estate at leisure.

A shuttle bus will run from Marden station from 9:30am, with arrival from 10am. Please bring a mat, comfortable clothing, and the usual sensible additions for outdoor optimism: sun cream, water, and perhaps a light layer for whatever September decides to do.
