Spread Some Joy, with Balfour’s The Goudhurst Inn

This Christmas at The Goudhurst Inn we want to give a little something back. So if you know a local family who have gone above and beyond for our community in 2023, please let us know. We’d love to invite them, free of charge, to enjoy Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings and award-winning English Wines, on us.

In the spirit of generosity and community, Kent-based The Goudhurst Inn is offering a free Christmas Dinner for a deserving family of four – as nominated by the local area. 

 The chosen family will be treated to a freshly cooked Christmas dinner at the pub, complete with all the traditional trimmings and Balfour’s award-winning English Wines to accompany.

The new manager of the inn, Stacey, created the idea to help connect with the local area. This will be the pub’s 240th Christmas serving the Goudhurst area – and she feels now is the time to spread joy to those who need it most. The initiative is aimed at helping a family or group of four who have had an especially difficult year – or as a way of recognising their contribution to the area. Particularly families who are worried about their spiralling outgoings this year due to the Cost of Living Crisis. 

“Christmas is a time for giving, and we wanted to do something truly special for our community. By gifting a Christmas dinner to a deserving family of four, we hope to create lasting memories and spread the joy of the season.” explains Lee Hart, Operations Director at Balfour Pubs & Inns.

The Goudhurst Inn is open throughout Christmas and will be serving almost a hundred local residents their Christmas Dinner – with a traditional menu being prepared. You can find out more here, or celebrate Christmas at this superb pub, here.
