Leslie’s Reserve Brut NV is a bright and fresh sparkling wine that captures the elegance and purity of English winemaking. Named after co-founder Leslie Balfour Lynn and first released in 2021 alongside the Rosé, this classic traditional method wine highlights Balfour’s signature style, emphasising fruit and aromatics with minimal reserve wine. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and full malolactic fermentation before ageing on lees for a minimum of 12 months.

The blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and a touch of Pinot Gris creates a clean profile featuring citrus and green apple notes with an aromatic and spicy edge, and a subtle chalky, smoky finish. Winner of a Gold Medal at the International Wine Challenge 2024, Leslie’s Reserve Brut NV is perfect for pairing with seafood dishes like grilled fish, oysters, and scallops, as well as light salads and fresh goat cheese.

It also complements citrus-based desserts such as lemon tart or key lime pie and is an ideal aperitif with light canapés. With a dosage of 8g/l, this Brut (dry) wine epitomises the fresh acidity and linear focus characteristic of exceptional English sparkling wines.
