Appearance
Pale peach with copper highlights.
Nose
Tangerine and lime zest with blackcurrant bud undertone.
Palate
Bright and layered. Citrus fruit leads into a mineral finish with notes of oyster shell and lemon.

The Story

Our first ever Blanc de Noirs, released exclusively in magnum, is a landmark wine for Balfour. A white sparkling wine made from black-skinned grapes, it is crafted from 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier. Often called the yin–yang of the sparkling world, Blanc de Noirs marries richness and power with elegance and finesse. Expect layers of red berry fruit, toasted brioche, and a long, complex finish. The magnum format allows the wine to evolve more slowly, adding depth and harmony. This wine is the perfect centrepiece for special occasions and a bold expression of English sparkling wine.
