Archive Collection is a showcase of the remarkable ageing potential of English sparkling wine – and in particular, our flagship wine, Balfour Brut Rosé.

Since our first vintage, a limited number of Balfour Brut Rosé bottles have been held back each year to continue ageing slowly in perfect conditions at the winery. At last, our remaining 120 bottles of the 2008 vintage, now in optimum condition, were selected by winemakers Owen and Fergus Elias to be disgorged and re-released as the first in our Archive Collection.

Even after fourteen years, the wine stays true to the identity of Balfour Brut Rosé. Rich with a wonderful Balfour freshness, the wine is taken to new heights of complexity by the extended ageing.
