Balfour Luke’s Pinot Noir wins Gold at The Global Pinot Noir Masters 2020
Whilst English wineries have been producing world class wines for some years now, it’s only more recently we have shown that our red wines can hit the top spot and achieve international acclaim too.
The Global Pinot Noir Masters is a competition created and run by The Drinks Business, and forms part of its successful Masters series for noble grape varieties, such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Our Balfour Luke’s Pinot Noir 2018 is just one of two English reds that won Gold at the Global Pinot Noir Masters 2020 and is enjoyed by the glass in some of England’s best restaurants, from the Savoy to Jason Atherton’s Berners Tavern.
Made from specially selected Burgundian clones on our Estate it is lightly oaked using French and American barrels. Bursting with ripe cherries and raspberry, this delicious wine is the perfect partner for pheasant and partridge and of course for those typically British BBQ’s
under the umbrella!
