Every June, English Wine Week shines a light on everything happening in English wine, and a lot is happening! Vineyard mornings in Kent, candlelit dinners in the city… it’s a week built for curious drinkers and long, glorious evenings. And Balfour is at the heart of it.

Balfour Winery sits at the heart of Hush Heath Estate. A 400-acre stretch of Kentish countryside that happens to produce some of England’s most acclaimed sparkling and still wines. For English Wine Week, we’re taking that out into the world.

For one day only, the Balfour-Lynns are throwing open the gates to the gardens at Hush Heath Manor for an intimate Founders Tour. Part wine tasting, part wander around the family’s rather glorious back garden. Expect six exceptional wines, including a few limited-edition bottles.
Come early, settle in for lunch, and soak up the rolling vineyards, ancient woodlands, and general smugness-inducing beauty of the Kent countryside. It’s English Wine Week, after all. You may as well do it properly.
Balfour Winery | Limited-Edition Tutored Wine Tasting

English Wine Week deserves a proper tasting. In this limited-edition tutored tasting you’ll spend an hour exploring six standout wines that chart the breadth, swagger and quiet confidence of modern English winemaking.
The line-up is unapologetically stellar: Chardonnay 76, Blanc de Noirs, Blanc de Blancs, Balfour Brut Rosé, Cinque Ports, and the rather magnificent Cuvée Owen Elias Erland 2020.
And because no good tasting should end empty-handed, there’s also 10% off in Cellar Door afterwards.
